American Diabetes Association: Diabetes World - Professional Edition

In the December issue of Diabetes Care: Jacob Kurlander and colleagues tease out the reasons why patients cut back on medications, finding that the reasons vary depending on conditions being treated; Jennifer Kuk and Chris Ardern find that obesity independently increases all-cause mortality even in obese subjects who are otherwise metabolically normal; and Andrew Calvin and colleagues report the results of a meta-analysis that shines additional light on the complex question of whether aspirin benefits patients with and without diabetes. These and many more reports can be found in the December issue of Diabetes Care.
